Since joining Impact in January I would say that my journey has consisted of progression, opportunities and success. I enjoy my job day to day and I’m surrounded by a team of amazing people, which makes it easier. Here are the main reasons why I will always be an advocate for Impact and why I see my future with them.
Having a great work life balance
Being a mum of 3, this one is key for me. As part of our incentives we regularly offer the chance to win extra time off. Our office is also family friendly meaning you can sign your little ones in now and again to say hi. I mean when else do you get the chance to see your managing director hula hooping?
Opportunities to progress and develop at any level
Since joining Impact at agent level, I myself have progressed to team manager. It’s not just agents who get great career opportunities, wherever you join Impact there is always room for you to develop. Another great opportunity you get is the Modern Apprenticeship & SVQ scheme. This gives you the opportunity to back up your skills with a fully accredited world recognised qualification.
Relationship with management and senior management
Communication between these levels is by far the best I have experienced in the call centre industry. I have worked in the outsourcing world for the best part of 10 years and they are the most open and honest company I have seen with their employees. Senior management at Impact are friendly and approachable too which always makes communication much easier.
Fun at Work
There’s always something going on at Impact. We recently had a Retro Rewind fun day where we managed to raise money for our charity partners SAMH. This week it was McMillan Coffee Morning, naturally we filled the office with more cake than anyone could eat. It’s not just charities we try and look out for, we try and make day to day ops as fun as possible for our agents by regularly offering incentives and bonus prizes.
The Impact company values and commitment to their employees
Impacts values are a massive part of the above to reasons I love working at Impact. Our working principles include No BS, being open and honest and being one family, something everyone at Impact embodies. Impact also have a huge commitment to developing their staff providing them with skills for life through the MA programme and continued training and development.
